We are Bulldog Digital Media, a UK-based search agency specialising in link building, PR, and content for growing brands. We're currently looking for a creative and detail-driven Virtual Assistant to help our growing Digital PR team. The perfect candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping brands grow through PR.


Hours a week: 20 - 30 hours weekly to start (with a full-time role available long term)

Hourly rate: £6 - £8


As Digital PR Assistant, you will:


  • Assist in creating sales proposals and client PR link reports.
  • Draft and edit press releases made by our content team.
  • Create content that matches client goals and brand voice.
  • Brainstorm exciting and newsworthy ideas.
  • Help monitor email inboxes and action accordingly.
  • Create media lists relevant to our clients.
  • Create email campaigns to reach out to said media lists.
  • Assist with journalist outreach and relationship building.
  • Assist in reporting PR activity in client reporting documents.
  • Communicate with the team and Digital PR Manager on PR activity
  • Support monitoring of media coverage.


Key Skills Required:


  • Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent English, written and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Digital PR, digital marketing, backlinks and SEO.
  • Ability to learn new skills and tools quickly.
  • Experience using Google Sheets, Docs and Slides.
  • Experience with running email outreach campaigns or software (e.g. Respona, Buzzstream).
  • Experience using media database software (e.g. Roxhill, Cision, Muck Rack).


Next steps:

  • This will be a long-term role with tasks refreshing every month.
  • You will work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and be paid for hours worked.
  • Communication will be managed via Slack.
