The Direct Payment Support Service Team is a dynamic team that works directly with vulnerable adults, families, and wider networks enabling individuals to access funds to manage their own care needs.
We deliver a service, providing professional knowledge of both operational and finance related elements of the direct payment’s arena. Including care and assessment planning, information and advice, payments, promotion and advice on training packages and employment support for employers and employees
You will be liaising with Direct Payment Support Services Teams, Adult and CWD Social Care staff, and other internal/external support organisations. As a member of the DPSS team you will be required to use a variety of internal IT systems & software packages including online-banking software– for which full training will be given. You'll need to record information in relation to the persons Care Plan and in line with the Direct Payments Terms and Conditions. Other duties will include telephone, video and written correspondence with our Service Users and Clients. Full training will be provided giving you a good understanding of Direct Payments. To be considered, you'll need strong experience of working in a customer service/ administration role or similar, along with excellent organisation and communication skills, numerate and a willingness to learn. You will need to be able to work independently and be proactive in your work.
