Our client based in Kendal is seeking a talented and dedicated Housekeeping Team Member to join their team from Monday 18th November until the end of the year.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining cleanliness and organisation, this could be the perfect role for you

As part of the Housekeeping Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting empty cardboard from picking aisles

• Organising and emptying bins and waste containers

• Operating cardboard compactors and other associated machinery

• Assisting with the organisation of stock

In addition to these tasks, there may be opportunities to assist with unloading containers, placing goods onto pallets, and handling heavy and large goods.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 6.45am to 3pm.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects
