Job Title: Welder/ Assembler

Location: Ipswich

Remuneration: Hourly rate of £15

Contract Details: Full-Time Position, Temporary with potential to be offered a permanent role

Responsibilities:

  • Weld metal components using various techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding, based on project specifications and blueprints.
  • Set up welding machines and equipment for specific tasks, adjusting for material type and thickness.
  • Assemble and fabricate metal structures according to technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Measure, cut, and bend metal pieces to specified dimensions using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.


The ideal candidate will possess an engineering awareness and demonstrate a strong work ethic. They should be proactive in identifying missing parts, have good computer skills, and be able to work independently. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
