An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Assistant Cook at Hollywell Primary School. We are looking for a motivated individual to work in our small catering team serving approximately 130 meals each day. As the assistant cook you will work alongside the head cook to prepare and cook healthy and nutritious food to a high standard. You will support with food preparation, cleaning, and hygiene procedures, serving meals and washing up. The successful candidate will be hard working and have a professional attitude towards food, hygiene, and the needs of the children. Experience in this sort of work and working with children would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work alongside the head cook to develop our in-house catering provision.

Experience of working with and knowledge of food safety and experience of catering is required. You must have a basic food hygiene certificate as a minimum. A full induction and training will be provided so the successful candidate must be willing to undertake further training and development as required to meet the needs of the school.
