An opportunity has arisen for a part time, Community Occupational Therapist to join our forward thinking, dynamic and integrated team based at East Lothian Community Hospital in Haddington. Our service is committed to developing effective and efficient ways of enabling people affected by disability to achieve their outcomes. This post holder will be responsible for completing occupational therapy assessments, statutory review work, postural and seating assessments for some of the most vulnerable citizens of East Lothian. The post holder will also be involved in developing new standards of practice when providing care for people with complex needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is skilled in assessment, rehabilitation, adaptations and moving and handling. You will have sound knowledge of a range of medical conditions and how they affect a persons ability to function in their home environment. You must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council.

Job Details

Provide a responsive and needs led Occupational Therapy Service in accordance with the Council’s statutory obligations, policies and procedures.
