Our Client

We are delighted to be partnered with this well-established, food manufacturing business based near Taunton. With presence throughout the UK, they successfully manufacture high quality products to variety of high-profile customers. They take pride in ensuring their products offer high-quality to exceed industry standards.

Our client is now recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their journey in achieving sustainable growth through product innovation. The successful candidate will be qualified, with experience within the food industry. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to quickly progress to a Technical Lead position.

Responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager:

Overseeing the quality assurance department Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures Conducting quality audits and inspections Identifying and resolving quality issues Ensuring that products meet all relevant standards Maintaining accurate records of quality testing Liaising with suppliers and customers on quality matters Monitor the temperature of the environment and products Monitor and report monthly KPI s, including customer returns Support with staff training about quality compliance

The Ideal Candidate:

Must have experience in quality assurance within the food industry Strong understanding of quality assurance standards, principles and procedures The desire to learn and progress in a role within food quality Perfect communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong Excel skills, ability to analyse and present data accurately, with attention to detail Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
