Our expert team offer round-the-clock care for Residents, following our ethos of person-centred care. We focus on making sure each Resident has their emotional, medical, spiritual and nutritional needs met. In doing so, we hope to empower them to lead the lives they choose and enjoy being part of the Gorton Parks family.
Your Duties...
- Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals as and when required
- Provide for special dietary requirements when necessary and take into account the preferences of the residents
- Liaise with the Home Manager when planning/costing menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh food
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
- Adhere to COSHH standards
- Report immediately to the Kitchen Manager, or person in charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident
