Prep Chef Ideal Profile:

Rapid and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and improve on the job

Follows instructions meticulously and upholds kitchen safety rules

Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing effectively to the team's success

Utilizes prep lists to efficiently organize tasks for timely ingredient preparation

Labels and stocks ingredients, maintaining an orderly kitchen layout

Demonstrates essential cooking skills, from chopping vegetables to creating diverse dishes

Prep Chef Responsibilities:

Precisely measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking

Wash, chop vegetables, and prepare meat for cooking

Execute cooking duties like reducing sauces and parboiling

Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and managing waste

Ensure proper food and item storage practices are adhered to

Undertake various assigned kitchen tasks to support operations
