We're looking for a Graduate Data Engineer to join our Flux Data team, which is a dynamic group responsible for integrating data from various Sage Products. We specialize in constructing robust data pipelines that facilitate the seamless ingestion of data into our Cloud Data Warehouse (Snowflake). Our work spans diverse use cases, including analytics, social impact initiatives (Sage Data for Good), and the creation of innovative Data Products.

Key Responsibilities

What will you be involved with?

• Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines.
• Extracting data from diverse sources, transform it, and load it into databases.
• Automating data workflows.
• Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources.
• Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Creating clear and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Implementing data validation checks.

What are we looking for?

You'll need to be a Graduate, and whilst we're open to different degree disciplines, these roles are ideal for Computer Science graduates (or similar).

Alongside this, you'll also be,

• Able to demonstrate a passion for tech, with skills to match.
• A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind to help problem solve.
• You'll be resilient and determined, able to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
• As part of a global business, you'll be an effective communicator, able to collaborate with people from across the world.
• Experience in SQL, Python would be advantageous

These roles are based in Newcastle. You'll be in the office at least 2 days a week so will need to live in (or be willing to relocate to) an easily commutable distance.

3. If successful at video interview stage, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre in the summer.
