Youth and Children's Pastor

We are a growing, lively Baptist church in the town of Towcester looking to take Jesus to our community, having recently moved into a new purpose-built church centre we are hoping to expand our Youth and Children's work and hope you would be a part of what God is doing here.

We are excited to look for our next Youth and Children's Pastor to come and help us nurture and disciple the 0-18 age group of our church family. After a number of years of part-time workers, we are looking for someone full-time, which presents some great opportunities for you to expand on the current work and bring some of your own experience and ideas to take the youth and children's work to new levels.

Primarily working with the youth, we would see you engaging and discipling our group of children and teenagers, who are amazing but need some encouragement in their faith. We have a small but dedicated youth team and children's team and while coordinating and supervising the children's work we would see you being more involved with the older group. We have spaces for Christian input as well as more gentle youth club activities. We would love to see a more intentional programme of discipleship being established to encourage those new to church to learn more about Jesus and we would love you to develop a vision for youth and children's work including experiences outside the bubble of Towcester.

We also have great relationships with other churches in the area and also positive relationships with our local primary and secondary schools and would see opportunities for involvement in well-being groups and mentoring within the schools as well as working with youth in other churches.
