Workshop Demonstrator

As the Workshop Demonstrator you will be responsible for the logistical set up and breakdown of machine's and demonstrate within the customer centre. This will include pre-testing and equipment staging. You must be confident to demonstrate the functionality of machines with clients face to face and provide technical support.


This Demonstrator job will involve:

  • Demonstrate the full range of equipment to clients face to face
  • Assemble and dissemble machinery
  • Manage ad hoc breakdowns and have the ability to diagnose and identify issues
  • Operation of general workshop equipment
  • Daily reporting
  • Manage stock, inbound and outbound

You must be able to:

  • To interpret instructions via detailed engineering drawings
  • Understand customer requirements
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • The ability to lift and move heavy machinery
  • Work with Electrical and Mechanical products
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Be confident in presenting to clients and demonstrating machinery functionality

You must have:

  • Maintenance, Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship
  • Electrical safety exposure
  • Experience with pneumatic systems
  • Experience with dismantling, cleaning and assembling machinery
