A Healthcare Regulatory/Inquests Solicitor is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a leading Top 50 law firm based in Leeds. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
My client is an award winning, international law firm with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Healthcare Solicitor/Advocate to join their well-respected Inquests team.
The Regulatory Department offers a broad range of expert advice to organisations and individuals facing Health & Safety, criminal and other regulatory prosecutions. You will manage a caseload of inquests files (including advocacy) for the NHS, various healthcare Trusts, and health and social care clients/individuals. In addition there will be some healthcare regulatory defence work.
As a Healthcare Inquests Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring justice and clarity in cases related to healthcare incidents, supporting clients through sensitive and complex legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Manage a caseload of healthcare inquests, from initial investigation to case resolution.Client Representation: Represent clients at inquests, providing expert legal advice and support throughout the process.Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to build strong cases, using a variety of sources.Client Communication: Maintain regular and empathetic communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress.Court Appearances: Attend inquests and other related court proceedings, advocating on behalf of clients.Collaboration: Work closely with other solicitors, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards, adhering to firm policies and procedures. Applications are invited from Solicitors/Advocates who have a solid track record undertaking Healthcare Regulatory or Inquests work and you will have strong advocacy skills.
