Are you passionate about a career in Quantity Surveying and eager to get hands-on experience in the construction industry? We are looking for a dedicated Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team in East Kilbride. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in their final years at university or college who is looking for day release opportunities while gaining invaluable on-site experience. Someone who has recently graduated would also be considered for the role.
About the Role:
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in a variety of projects including roofing, cladding, social housing refurbishments, and potentially moving into main contracting. You will work closely with our experienced QS team, learning the ropes and contributing to the financial management of our projects.
Key Requirements:
- On-Site Construction Experience: We require candidates who have real, live construction experience. This is non-negotiable, as we value practical knowledge and on-the-ground insight.
- Educational Background: Those in their final years of university who are seeking day release opportunities are encouraged to apply. Or people who have graduated with a Surveying degree.
- Versatility: An interest in various aspects of construction, from roofing and cladding to social housing refurbishments, is essential.
