The Department wishes to recruit a fixed-term Lecturer in Environmental Politics and Policy (education-focused) until 30 September 2025.
The Department of Government has achieved a Scientific Women's Academic Network (Athena SWAN) Bronze award in 2020 and particularly welcomes applications from those who are or identify as female or non-binary as they are under-represented in the Department.
Duties of the Role
The post-holder is expected to conduct teaching in Environmental Politics and Policy, assisting with the supervision of undergraduate projects and Masters Dissertations.
In addition, you will be expected to contribute to excellence in education by designing and delivering substantive and effective teaching and learning support as agreed with the Head of Department.

Skills and qualifications required
Applicants will hold a relevant doctoral level degree in Political Science or allied field (or have received your PhD before taking up the post) or possess equivalent professional experience or practice. Applicants will be required to have proven experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, or demonstrable potential to achieve this, as well experience of supervising student projects and dissertations.
