Physics Coordinator

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational full-time, permanent Physics coordinator.

You would join our highly successful Science department of 10 members of staff and 2 technicians. The science department is highly ambitious, and learners achieve above national average GCSE results. We deliver both combined and separate science specifications at GCSE as well as a highly engaging KS3 curriculum. The science department has excellent facilities with well-equipped modern laboratories.

The post holder would report to the Academic Leader of Science and be responsible for:

· Working alongside the KS3 and KS4 coordinators

· Developing and maintaining the curriculum for Physics at KS3 and KS4, including separate science

· Analysing and delivering training for all staff delivering KS4 Physics

· Collaborating with the Maths department to track common skills across both subjects

· Delivering appropriate Physics extra opportunities for students
