BCL Legal are working with a regional top 60 UK law firm who are recruiting for an Newly Qualified Solicitor for their office situated in Northampton.


You will be part of the market leading Agriculture and Estates team which has consistently been top ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

The team is widely recognised as market leading and acts for farmers, landowners and estates.

This opportunity offers a great quality of work in all types of transactional matters including sales, purchases, and mortgages. They also advise clients on estate management, agricultural tenancies and tax and succession planning.


The team act for some of the largest landowners in the country, 4 of their clients being within the top 50 landowners in the UK, leading the way putting in place agreements to unlock Biodiversity Net Gain.

Their land owning clients have renewable energy schemes and strategic land sales with values in excess of £100m.


The team work closely with their Private Client team to provide a wraparound services for our clients as well as advising on the cutting edge of conservation management and natural capital projects.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with significantly experienced Partners and Senior Associates within the team.

About you:


The firm are looking for someone with a passion for the agricultural industry, and who has had some exposure to rural property work previously.


  • Qualified Solicitor NQ1 years PQE.
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
