Accounting: seeking top-rated PhD applications from candidates with interests in all areas of accounting and excellent quantitative and qualitative accounting skillset. Banking and Finance: seeking students with expertise in Big Data Modelling. An MSc degree in Statistics, Financial Mathematics or Quantitative Finance will be welcome. Digital and Data Driven Marketing: as one of the top 5 Marketing Departments in the UK, we invite strong PhD proposals in marketing-specific topics, such as Advertising, Branding, Consumer Behaviour, Digital and Social Media Marketing, International Marketing, Relationship Marketing, Retailing and Marketing Strategy in B2C, B2B and C2C contexts. We especially welcome applications that will develop an interdisciplinary approach to addressing real-world challenges. You are also invited to propose transformative research that challenges conventional disciplinary boundaries, to help solve real-world problems, contribute to addressing the evolving challenges of business with creativity and a collaborative spirit, and create positive outcomes by bridging practice and intersectionality of disciplines to help prepare leaders and members of organisations for the future of work, business and entrepreneurship.
