Community Care Resources offers support to adults over 16 years old with assessed needs. Most individuals we assist are seniors needing support to live independently at home, attend Day Support, or require 24-hour care in a residential setting.
Social Care Workers (Main Grade) provide person-centered care to individuals at home and in care centers, helping them achieve their goals and priorities. The role involves ensuring high standards of personal care, social activities, and meaningful interactions based on their needs and wishes, while promoting independence and dignity. It includes rehabilitation, development opportunities, and ensuring safety.

Additional Information- Post grade: H
- Pay rate includes Distant Islands Allowance of £1.4202 per hour
- 2 x Permanent Part Time posts (30 hours/week, 52.18 weeks/year)
- PVG Scheme clearance required
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of start date
- No relocation package
- Interview expenses covered within Shetland
- Flexible working options available
