Job DescriptionBased at various locations, you will work full time, 37 hours per week including evenings and weekends on a rota basis, temporary until June 2025.   • Teachers Certificate/UKCC Level 1 or 2.
ResponsibilitiesYou will maintain the cleanliness of the water and pool area at the base school and any other school as part of the evening rota or covering for absence. You will provide lifeguard cover at the base school and assist the teaching staff with swimming instruction.The IndividualYou will have experience of working with children and have good communication skills and a flexible attitude. You must be willing to undertake training to gain a Pool Plant Operators qualification within one year of appointment. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
