Description

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the business's day-to-day financial operations across the diverse range of businesses. An imminent change in finance system provides you with an opportunity to shape new processes and reports, increasing the value the finance function provide to the operational and executive teams.

  • Manage month-end and year-end processes and financial reporting
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimise liquidity and mitigate financial risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Lead and mentor the Purchase Ledger team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and performance excellence.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems, processes, and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and achieve company objectives.

Profile

You'll be dynamic Finance Manager with a genuine passion for providing exceptional support and enjoy being a fundamental part of a small team.

Either QBE or a CIMA / ACCA finalist you will be looking for an opportunity to supporting a transnational team and be a confident communicator with the skills and ability to manage expectations efficiently, be flexible, focused, proactive,and self-motivated.

You'll have excellent communication skills and be proficient in all Microsoft Office software and be comfortable learning new systems and open to changes to make processes more efficient.
