Ursuline High School, Wimbledon, is a voluntary-aided, comprehensive high school for Roman Catholic girls from 11-18 under the Trusteeship of the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark.

Merton schools are top in England for Progress 8, the Ursuline has been in the top 5% for the past few years and has a tradition of academic excellence, addressing individual needs and service in the spirit of St Angela. The curriculum equips girls with skills for the modern, global world and develops them as independent and critical learners and confident communicators.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly committed Art Teacher to lead our well established and successful Arts Faculty forward.

Our Arts Department

Housed in our recently renovated St Angela's Centre, the Arts Department is a consistently high achieving department in the school and one that is united by a strong and supportive team spirit, the department hosts many events, including a yearly school production, music concerts which are always well attended by staff, students and parents.

The department is well resourced with excellent facilities and an outstanding gallery to display student work, with an annual art exhibition. Staff are experienced and have an excellent work ethic.

The school has amazing students and an outstanding CPD programme. It is situated in the heart of Wimbledon with easy access to Central London and the South East.
