Description

The successful candidate will:

Act as the competent person as required by the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Be the operational lead for the organisation's compliance with its statutory health and safety responsibilities.

Work with our Health and Safety consultants to ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety are maintained.

Identify and prepare risk assessments to address relevant Health and Safety issues.

Be responsible for health and safety monitoring and training across the organisation.

Profile

A successful Interim H&S Coordinator should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Health and Safety management.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
  • Knowledge of property management and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and managing safety documentation.
