Now the biggest company of its kind in the UK, our huge fleet of vehicles together with experienced staff provide an unrivalled service to our customers. We stock a large selection of Fifth Wheel and Travel Trailers from leading American RV manufacturers.

About the role:

We are looking for Fleet Manager for our Operations & Transport department. As the Fleet Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a number of responsibilities listed below.

Objectives of this role

  • Assisting the Transport Managers with day-to-day driver and fleet management and compliance audits
  • Monitor and update various records for fleet tracking systems
  • Adhere to company-wide rules and regulations while performing fleet management services
  • Oversee the repairs and maintenance of the vehicles by devising a sound vehicle management system

Your tasks

  • Monitor the compliance, quality control and assurance standards for all areas of fleet management
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all the areas of fleet activities
  • Schedule regular vehicle management and maintenance checkups
  • Manage the drivers and their job roles, and ensure that they stick to the rules and regulations set in place by the company

Required skills and qualifications

  • Prior experience working as a fleet manager
  • In-depth knowledge of the transportation industry and its current trends
  • Proficiency in using computerised fleet management software/tools
  • Outstanding analytical, decision-making and leadership skills
  • Good communication skills

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Knowledge of fleet servicing, fleet scheduling, fleet analysis, and operations
