FPSG are supporting our well established client with their growth with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager, based in Stirling.
The role will include stock control ensuring efficient operations and will have line management responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing of workshop/warehouse
- Ensure compliance with all company and statutory Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Manage stock levels, order and process stock, in accordance with the Company's standard policies and procedures at all times.
- Manage the workload of other warehouse operatives and ensure high standards of competence are maintained at all times
- Maintain the warehouse, yard and dedicated areas in a tidy and orderly manner
- Maintain/service and update records for the tools and equipment allocated within the warehouse
- Management and maintenance of test kits
- Organise the preparation of materials for installation and servicing jobs in a timely manner.
- Attend (monthly) warehouse management meetings for all branches and report on Stirling branch status/progress
Person Specification
You will have the following skills:
- Experience in a warehouse environment is essential
- A fork lift operator certificate is desirable
- Experience of stock control IT systems
- The ability to complete paperwork accurately and to count stock items accurately
- Experience of staff management
