We have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Manager to join our team in Bristol. The role will report into the Director of FP&A and Reporting. We're looking for someone to join Gleeds at an exciting time, whilst we're experiencing significant growth, and establish appropriate corporate governance whilst retaining our core values.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the Group budget process for 2025
- Preparation of reporting packs for budget holders and board members
- Variance analysis and reporting, including information on key cost drivers for the Corporate Overhead departments
- Reviewing and interrogating reporting submissions, prior to board pack creation
- Creating new KPI reporting and metrics
- Analysing and communicating financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Production and interpretation of financial models
- Ensuring compliance with the financial schedule
- Assisting with the creation of procedures, policies and overall governance implementation
- Adhoc tasks pertaining to the Group budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process
- Performing adhoc tasks such as the preparation of balance sheets and other financial documents

What are we looking for
The FP&A Manager role is primarily about assisting the Director of FP&A to coordinate the Group budget process and subsequent reporting, and managing the reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the Corporate Overhead functions.
We are looking for a qualified accountant, with a proactive approach who is able to hit the ground running. They need to be capable of working autonomously and collaborating with the wider finance team to support the strategic decisions. The right candidate would have both a 'can do' attitude and strong work ethic.
Experience / knowledge:
- ACA qualified with a 'big 4' accounting firm
- Experience in a similar role is desirable
- Strong technically
- Capability to drive change and performance - identify issues and suggest improvements
- Proficient in excel and accounting software programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate independently
- Inquisitive
- Flexible can-do attitude
