ROLE PURPOSE
This role is responsible for a range of duties, supporting the Head of Finance and working closely with the Finance Manager to produce the Management Accounts on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis. Providing timely and accurate record keeping all in accordance with the accounting policies and procedures. This role offers a blend of revenue and inventory focused responsibilities with exposure to wider financial reporting processes such as preparing financial statements and contributing towards the month-end processes.

My client is looking for a motivated self-starter to join their friendly and supportive Finance team. This role would be ideal for a candidate with similar previous experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Inventory & Revenue
Reconciling stock levels between WMS & NAVInventory & revenue accrualsProcessing revenue recognition adjustmentsAccounting for my clients store and any stock movements relating to SiSEnsuring product loans process is kept on top of and in good order.Full review and maintenance of all inventory locations with regular counts and reconciliationsManagement of the REG Finance mailboxOwn direct channel sales reporting and processes
Management Accounts
Calculation of branch commission and rechargesAccounting for and reviewing warranty & stock provisions.Raise monthly & quarterly staff recharges in line with service agreements.Updating TB and producing financial statements for internal reportingCompletion of REG Financial highlights dataQuarterly DIVA reporting and responding to RJA queries.Assist with the production of the management accounts in accordance with IFRS.Monthly balance sheet revaluation
Statutory reporting
Produce and maintain a schedule of all European tax requirements and ensure all payments are made ahead of deadlines.Preparing tax returns and partnering closely with external tax advisors to effectively deliver on all tax related deadlines on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis for the Company and its branches.Managing tax provisions under IFRS in monthly, quarterly & year-end reporting cycles.Ownership of tax balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.Serve as the point of contact for corporate tax-related queries and provide tax analysis and advice for projects.Assist with the production of the statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.Work closely with Finance Manager on the quarterly and year-end audits by external auditors.
Adhoc work

Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days in the office at the individual's descretion

Carry out any other ad-hoc work as requested by line manager
