NPL Analyst

Buckleighwilliams is working with an integrated loan portfolio master servicer focused on delivering value to capital invested by institutional investors, to identify an Analyst with experience working in the NPL space. We are currently hiring for the position of NPL Analyst, a role within the client's analytics team. This team is instrumental in supporting asset management functions, providing valuable insights for investment and asset management decision-making. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their understanding of the complete investment cycle.

Role-Specific

Responsibilities:

Forecasting NPL Portfolios: Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and recalibrations of NPL portfolios using financial modeling and statistical techniques. Portfolio Divestments: Provide comprehensive support in portfolio sales activities, including datatape creation, KPI measurement, and segment identification to optimize sales strategies. Reporting: Generate tailored reporting solutions for various stakeholders, including the board of directors, executive committee, and institutional lenders, ensuring clarity and accuracy of financial and NPL-related data. Asset Management Analytics: Conduct numerical and quantitative analysis to evaluate asset management activities and campaigns, identifying opportunities to enhance portfolio value and maximize NPV. Underwriting: Support the underwriting process for potential new NPL portfolio acquisitions.

Position Requirements:

3+ years of credit investment or NPL experience. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, statistical techniques, and credit valuation methodologies. Experience with programming languages (R, Python, VBA) and data management (SQL, Alteryx) tools is a significant advantage. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Fluency in additional European languages (including any Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, or Italian) is considered an asset.
