PA to Directors

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a for a highly organised and efficient PA to join our team on a permanent basis with specific responsibility for two company directors, including the Director General.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the directors and will deal with a wide range of communications assessing urgency and relevance.


Salary £ £14.82ph

Hours 35hrs p/w. Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00

Permanent Contract | Remote working – approx. 1-2 days onsite per month.

Duties not limited to:


  • Provide full PA support to two directors, and secretarial support to the wider leadership team as part of a small team of PA's.
  • Act as the first point of contact dealing with general enquiries, emails, complaints, and post.
  • Communicate with Trustees and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complex diary management and the co-ordination and management of regular meetings including taking minutes, providing agendas and monitoring papers.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, reports, documents, meeting papers, presentations, and other materials, ensuring they are well-written and presented.
  • Organise meetings, and events etc, putting in place appropriate arrangements to make them run smoothly including digital technology, travel, accommodation, and refreshments as required.
  • Support with HR administration tasks.
  • Assist the Director and their direct reports with the development and implementation of key projects.
  • Any other duties to support the team when requested.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of three years working in a PA role.
  • Exceptional administration skills, including fast and accurate keyboard skills and effective minute-taking.
  • Has a proactive in the approach to work.
  • A peoples person and enthusiastic team player.
  • Has the ability to prioritise different and often competing demands, and effectively multi-task.
  • Excellent IT skills along with strong verbal, written and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent planning and delivery skills are critical as is the ability to make effective decisions with an eye for detail.
