About the JobAs a Duty / Aquatics Manager you will be reporting to the Assistant General Manager. Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day running of health and safety on poolside, managing the lifeguard team, coordinating wet side timetables, events and rotas; as well as acting as duty manager for the leisure centre. Ultimately, you will ensure all operations flow smoothly and help us meet our company goals.
Key Responsibilities include:Coordination of events and activities like gala's and holiday camps. Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of the facility.Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly pool plant operations, tasks and checks.Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns & report on the management system.Perform pool hygiene & safety checks. Provide first class customer service to all users of the facilityAddress any customer queries or complaints
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of wet side operations within the leisure sector, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to communicate clearly, influence and motivate staff. Experience of working within a Health & Safety critical environment with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment is essential.
Qualifications RequiredIdeally hold or work towards a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)Ideally hold or work towards a First Aid at Work QualificationIdeally hold or work towards a Pool Plant Operator Qualification
