It's an exciting time to join the Lawnswood Campus family as we continue on our journey to transform the lives of the young people we serve. This is an excellent opportunity, for the right teacher to drive our vision forward whilst we go through a significant period of change.
We require passionate and committed teachers to join our team and work across the Campus. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in laying the foundation of outstanding standards of education and support us as we continue to create a stimulating and purposeful environment where all of our young people have a sense of belonging in order to thrive.
Applicants will be expected to have:
- Experience of working with young people with SEMH and particularly challenging behaviour.
- A proven track record of good communication and organisation.
- An interest in all aspects of the curriculum and inspirational ways to deliver it.
- An understanding of health and safety and a willingness to attend training. Job Overview:
To create and deliver engaging lessons to a diverse group of young people at all levels taking into account group and individual needs and learning styles. To inspire, motivate and promote enthusiasm for learning and for the subject, adhering to national curriculum standards. The teaching role forms a central part of the work within the subject area and the post holder will work closely with colleagues to support, develop and further extend the work of the subject and the experiences of the young people.
