We will count on you to:

  • Collect and review data.
  • Cleanse and manipulate data to prepare it for our tools. This includes bringing in suitable assumptions for the given portfolio.
  • Populate our tool and test and review for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Develop and maintain model documentation, parametrisation, and default probabilities.
  • Work with external provider in enhancing and updating our modelling framework including develop automatisation where applicable
  • Develop a new portfolio solution to enhance our peer review capabilities.
  • Liaise with analytics and specialists across the division and GC Global Specialties.
  • Enhance and develop reporting capabilities including use of Power BI.
  • Embrace and develop big data by utilising internal and external sources of data and systems.
  • Enhance the division's skills and knowledge in the usage of analytics to empower our advice.

What you need to have:

  • Experience in credit, financial and portfolio analytics.
  • Python and other programming skills.
  • Understanding of credit, surety and political risk from underwriting or broking.
  • Understanding of reinsurance would be preferable.
  • High (expert) level of Excel knowledge.
  • Innovative and creative.
  • Solution finding and problem solving.
  • Client focused - internal and external.
  • Articulate communicator.

  • Alteryx Designer Advanced certification.
  • Familiarity with reinsurance concepts, terminology, and industry-specific data requirements.
