Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom Leaders in Care Full time

OFSTED rating Good | Very flexible working | Minimised Caseload | Hybrid working

Leaders in Care are working directly with a council in West Midlands to offer something special. With recent funding approved in line with the financial year, we've been given the green light to recruit Child Protection Senior Practitioners in a well-known Council, and this is a really good time to be joining our agency as we've increased our loyalty bonus scheme in a West Midlands area, meaning (drum roll) Frontline Roles up to £46 per hour

The service has 4 teams in which a small number of cases are allocated to Senior Practitioners, as you will be mainly supporting your team manager with encouraging best practice and assisting colleagues to develop their cases.

Flexible working is extremely encouraged by the council, with local hubs throughout the county for peace and quiet, senior management have no expectation around having to come to the office x times a week.

OFSTED rated the council's children services as GOOD last year. This is a service that has massively improved in the last couple of years and senior management are striving for an OUSTANDING rating on next review.

Due to our direct contact with this council, we are able to support your needs being met, from working from home 4 days a week to childcare and morning school runs, we have you covered, let us find the role that suits your wants best. The local authority has a great range of permanent to agency staff with great feedback from current social workers working there already

Leaders in Care can offer a rate of £45/h, along with a service that has received 370 5* Google reviews – this means weekly check ins, support on your placement, and a market leading timesheet & payroll system that means Fridays are no longer a stress of refreshing your bank to see if your money is coming

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
