Aston Community Education Trust are a forward thinking and ambitious multi-academy trust, comprising of three secondary academies and nine junior academies across the Rotherham, Sheffield and north Derbyshire areas.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Assistant Head of Faculty to provide professional leadership and management within the RPE faculty, in order to secure high quality teaching, the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement of all students. The successful candidate will be able to teach RPE, across all key stages, including teaching A level. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to teach A level Criminology and/or Philosophy.

Specific areas of responsibility within the faculty will include leading in KS4; additional responsibilities will be negotiated with the successful candidate. This post is not suitable for Early Career Teachers due to the teaching and learning responsibility.
