Our client, an innovative insurtech company originating from Australia, presents an enticing opportunity to join their newly established team in the United Kingdom. Directly reporting to the Chief Commercial and Insurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in the foundational UK team.

As the Business Operations Associate / Manager for the UK, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial and Insurance Officer UK. The role involves engagement in diverse projects that will evolve over time. Currently, the focus includes:

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Supporting the development and implementation of new insurance products and propositions in the UK, collaborating with teams such as growth team for ideation and product development.
    • Aiding in the creation of policy documents, customer communications, and ensuring the smooth launch of new products in coordination with digital product and support teams.
    • Contributing to projects that enhance the scalability of UK insurance operations, including cooperation with underwriting and claims partners.
  • This position provides exposure to various facets of the UK business, offering learning opportunities within the global team.
  • Applicant Requirements:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks meticulously, applying sound judgement and critical thinking to tackle new challenges.
    • Proven skills in clear and effective communication with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders through various channels.
    • Preferable background in insurance, finance, or law sectors.
    • A legal background is advantageous but not compulsory, a willingness to learn is key.
    • Strong motivation to address complex issues concerning customer experience, regulations, technology, and business processes.
