The South East Stafford Academy Trust (SESAT) is a Multi-Academy Trust based in Stafford. Currently SESAT is made up of two large and highly successful primary schools: Barnfields Primary School and Leasowes Primary School. This has been verified by Ofsted, including the very recent inspection at Leasowes Primary School where a grading of outstanding has been achieved in all areas.

The role:

  • Teacher (32.5 hours per week)
  • Job Type- Temporary until February 2025 (maternity cover)
  • Salary: M1-M6

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • An excellent and inspiring practitioner, ensuring that planning and preparation meets the varying learning and social needs
    • Able to plan and deliver an engaging primary curriculum which ensures good progress in learning
    • Have high expectations of achievement, attainment, progress and behaviour of all children from all backgrounds
    • Effectively and efficiently record, assess and report to identify needs and continually drive learning forward
    • Use a diverse range of teaching strategies appropriately to enthuse and instil a love of learning
    • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum
    • Provide a safe and caring learning environment
    • Ensure that the current national conditions of employment for school teachers are met (the Teacher Standards)
