Economic Crime Prevention provides a high quality, large scale, shared service for customer owning business units in Lloyds Banking Group and third parties, where the purpose is to continue to keep the bank and our customers safe from the impacts of financial crime.

This role will work closely with Procedure and Performance Managers and will sit within the 3i's (Integrated Intelligence and Investigation) team of ECP, which has the responsibility to investigate suspicious activity reports to determine whether disclosure to NCA (National Crime Agency) is necessary, complete customer relationship reviews, and to deliver high-quality intelligence and data led risk management to reduce harm to our communities.

We're looking for an individual who can provide specialist AML Knowledge and provide coaching, guidance, feedback, advice, and support to all colleagues as well as using judgement to make customer relationship decisions based upon a range of information.

You'll support design, development and specification of new/redesigned processes, systems, information, documentation and supporting materials, including supporting the implementation of projects using AML expertise. You'll play a key role in driving the 3i's culture forward (Continuous Improvement, Colleague Engagement, etc), and proactively seek opportunities to further develop self and wider team.

  • Support end to end recruitment and deliver appropriate training across 3is for colleagues to reach and maintain competence to accreditation standards.
  • Ensure AML compliance with LBG policy, procedures and guidelines and identify trends and gaps in 3is capability and support to put appropriate actions in place to address them.
  • Support individuals with performance concerns and provide coaching and training as appropriate.
  • Ensure that 3i's colleagues receive appropriate training to reach and maintain competence to accreditation standards.
  • Incident escalation and completion of root cause analysis where required.
