The mathematics department has a strong ethos of collaborative working and has a track record of consistent success in all key stages. We are currently looking to recruit a new member to our high-achieving, successful and supportive team with the opportunity to teach A Level Maths/Further Maths as appropriate.

Principal Responsibilities

· To teach Mathematics across all key stages and ability ranges in line with departmental schemes of work and policies.

· To participate in the development of appropriate syllabuses, materials and schemes of work

· To be accountable for student progress by liaising with teaching and support staff to monitor and support individual children and teaching groups.

Additional Specific Responsibilities

· To be Form Tutor of an assigned form and to carry out related duties in accordance with the general job description of a Form Tutor.

General Duties

· To carry out a share of supervisory duties in accordance with published rosters.

· To participate in appropriate meetings with colleagues and parents relative to the above duties.
