Red Balloon Learner Centre, Cambridge is recruiting for an English Teacher to join the team from September 2024.

We work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been severely bullied and/or experience high levels of anxiety about attending school. We provide a safe environment with clear boundaries for behaviour, and an individual full-time academic, pastoral and therapeutic programme. Once students have regained their confidence and are able to cope academically and socially, we support their return to mainstream school or college or into

employment. It is important that the jobholder concurs with this aim.

The following teaching opportunity is currently available;

Teacher of English - 3 to 5 days per week (24 to 40 hours) - hours to be negotiated.

Salary from £25,182 (full time equivalent) depending on experience.

The role is permanent.
