We are looking for an Electronics/Test Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a job in Andover which requires on site working.

This is a great electromechanical engineering job on a permanent contract.

The purpose of the Electronics Engineer is to develop and deliver design solutions. This is for safety critical electromechanical machines.

The Stannah Stairlift is our most well-known product, which we manufacture and distribute all around the world. It is a medical device that enables people to move in and around their homes.

We are looking for an engineer who is experienced in test and development confidently able to use LabView. And PLC programming. You might have worked in an electronics job and be looking for your next career move. Or a software engineer job, developing your career in LabVIEW software.

Ideally you will be able to work with PLCs and LabVIEW straightaway. We require electromechanics experience. We are open to considering a graduate with some experience and a great attitude to learn and grow.

A background in manufacturing is essential. You must have worked in all aspects of test system design. Experience working with test systems is essential. We are looking for a software electronics engineer who has had a recent LabView job.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test equipment for all stages of a products life from concept verification through to full production.
  • Produce test methods and system specifications.
  • Maintain a high level of equipment in the engineering department modifying or specifying new when required.
  • Develop electro-mechanical designs in accordance with corporate and international standards.
  • Evaluate design solutions and conduct design reviews.
  • Identify and escalate technical risk using structured methods.
  • Collaborate with all business functions to ensure system requirements are met.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external parties.

Requirements

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification
