ABC Teachers is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with extensive SEND experience to join a well-respected special needs school in Wolverhampton.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs in the classroom.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment by adapting to each student s unique requirements.
  • Assist the class teacher with general classroom tasks, customize learning activities, and prepare materials as necessary.
  • This is a full-time, ongoing position starting in September 2024, with flexible opportunities for other roles available.

About You:

To be a strong candidate for the Teaching Assistant role, you should:

  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to various situations and individual needs.
  • Bring previous experience working in an SEND environment.
  • Be passionate about positively impacting young people s lives.
  • Be able to provide suitable references and successfully pass a DBS check.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
