This is an exciting opportunity to join Southport College as the Director of Curriculum - Apprenticeships and Skills, where you'll lead a dynamic team in driving apprenticeship performance and growth while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Reporting to the Deputy Principal, you will spearhead the development of an innovative curriculum aligned with local and national skills needs. Your remit includes strategic management and operational oversight of the College campus, encompassing line-management of the Curriculum teams, resource management, and the implementation and monitoring of quality processes to optimise curriculum team performance. As a key leader, you will also be accountable for achieving all financial and performance related KPIs.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive teaching experience, preferably in the Apprenticeship curriculum area, coupled with a proven track record of managing apprenticeship departments or large programme areas. Strong resource management skills are also essential.
