  • We have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultants to join our growing team helping to transform risk consulting and strategic risk management for some of the world's most prestigious organisations. We are a highly collaborative team and offer a supportive environment in which you can expect to engage with high profile clients in the UK and overseas on innovative risk assessments, risk governance and control improvements and thematic deep dive risk reviews e.g. Environmental Social Governance (ESG), product liability, project risk.
  • Our 10 person business is experiencing double-digit growth, meaning we need capable individuals to sustain our client impact, spanning the full range from senior consultant (running one or more workstreams) to experienced principal (running a number of projects). In all cases the role holders would be supported by a seasoned leadership team and capable pool of junior consultants.
  • Interest and experience in the key tenants of ERM (Governance, Core Risk Management Process and Risk Resources and Infrastructure) is essential, with experience in financial impact modelling and strategic risk and insurance alignment highly desirable.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead client-facing ERM and strategic risk and insurance alignment projects (scale as relevant to experience)
  • Help organisations of all shapes and sizes access and benefit from enterprise risk analysis and management in a way relevant to their businesses
  • Collaborate with colleagues on service and product innovations
  • Contribute to business development through internal presentations to Marsh colleagues, client presentations and industry events, as well as thought leadership
  • Senior role holders will be expected to contribute to the sales pipeline and own client relationships

What you need to have:

  • Previous ERM consulting experience* at a consulting firm or insurance broker
  • Strong core consulting skillset e.g. analysis, risk implementation planning and delivery, written and verbal communication, project management
  • Ability to 'translate' client questions to ERM and insurance strategy questions to solve
  • High level of quantitative/analytics skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at a senior levels

*A strong background as a Risk Management Expert at a large corporate is also acceptable. You should be able to demonstrate internal consulting credentials in this capacity.
