Job Purpose

This role is responsible for planning, designing, setting up, modifying, optimising and monitoring manufacturing processes across the production site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production in reducing / eliminating equipment downtime
  • Provision of technical support to Operations and Production departments, including resolutions of design queries
  • Facilitate continuous improvement
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, or processes and systems
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulation, employing best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Time served Mechanical Engineer
  • At least 3 years of Mechanical Engineer experience
  • Previous experience with injection moulding and assembly is desired but not essential

Shift Pattern:

  • 4on, 4off
  • 12 hour shifts
  • 07 00 and 19 00 rotational days and nights

Job Details

  • Salary from £38,000
  • Multi-skilled training offered, which includes a £2,000 salary uplift after successful completion
