What you will enjoy doing

Main purpose of the role – you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our UK employees. You will work closely with the HR department and finance team to guarantee compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies

  • Process multiple payrolls for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Calculate and process salaries, deductions and adjustments.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Production of payroll and control reports
  • Main point of contact for queries and data requests from internal colleagues and external sources
  • Audit and review of information received ensuring relevant internal procedures
  • Completion of monthly reporting and ad-hoc management reporting requirements
  • Supporting internal and external audits


What makes you great

Experience Required:

  • Recent experience of processing payroll within a large company for multiple sites – ideally manufacturing/production/FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, regulations and best practices
  • Understand importance of and demonstrate confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles related to payroll processes
  • Competent use of IRIS, Earnie IQ payroll systems – advantageous
  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (Or equivalent)

£23,000 Per Annum (Paid Monthly) + Annual Bonus
