You will be based within the multi-professional School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing, a vibrant and collaborative community.

You should hold an orthoptic qualification registerable with the HCPC and have orthoptic educational experience in either a clinical setting, or at a higher education institution. Knowledge of issues affecting clinical education, and evidence of CPD are essential attributes. You should have evidence of study at Postgraduate Level 7 (CPD or Master's modules). In addition, you will need to demonstrate evidence of scholarly activity within healthcare or clinical education.

This post is to cover a period of Maternity Leave expected to be from 12th August 2024 to 15th August 2025.

Although the university has a hybrid working system, the expectation is that the successful applicant appointed to this role will be expected to work more than 50% on campus. Lectures will take place face to face there is no online learning.
