The Pensions Implementation Project Analyst is one of a group of experienced analysts responsible for the implementation of multiple bulk annuity schemes within a wider insured portfolio. Working day to day with the Project Manager, fellow analysts and external stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for handover to the BAU team for ongoing administration and ongoing reporting to the insurer.

We will count on you to:

  • Take ownership for delivering project work as directed by the Project Manager and the project plan
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure timelines and deliverables are met; notify project manager or client if timelines are in jeopardy.
  • Analyse Benefit Specifications / rules to build an internal admin specification for sign off and basis of the system build
  • Manage client requests, processes and scheme financial transactions.
  • Produce test cases based on the specification
  • Analyse Admin Data cuts and reconcile against pricing data, identifying any critical gaps that would affect project and service delivery.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience in or associated with DB Pensions/Final Salary Pensions Administration and preferably Bulk Purchase Annuities
  • Extensive prior experience in analysis on large data sets
  • Experience in preparing test packs for new scheme implementations and performing manual DB calculations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience that illustrates ability to prioritise work on multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail
