As a Site Engineer, your role will involve overseeing on-site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and managing day-to-day site operations for public realm and highways projects.
- Setting out and surveying sites using appropriate equipment.
- Coordinating with contractors and local authorities for site inspections.
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities and progress.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the site team.
- Monitoring project timelines and budgets for timely task completion.
To qualify, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in public realm and highways projects.
- Proficiency in using surveying and setting-out equipment.
- A strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks independently under tight deadlines.
- A valid UK driving license and your own surveying equipment.
