Role Purpose:

Providing advice, information, and assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Helping them explore housing options, find suitable accommodation, and collaborating with various partners and agencies to prevent and reduce homelessness in the community.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Offering advice on homelessness prevention, housing options, and tenure rights
  • Collecting and verifying relevant applicant information
  • Progressing homeless applications in compliance with legislation
  • Assessing needs and creating personalized housing plans
  • Referring applicants to partner agencies for additional support
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Homelessness legislation
  • Understanding of Landlord and tenant law
  • Effective communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience in housing-related roles
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Contract:

Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with potential extension. PAYE via Umbrella. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Hybrid).
