Investment Banking Analyst - Consumer, Retail & Leisure

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

An opportunity to join a highly motivated Consumer and Retail team in an established investment bank as an Analyst.

What will you do?

  • Provide support to the origination efforts of other parts of the division / bank, as appropriate
  • Assist in the management of the transaction, maintaining regular contact with client, specialist advisors, other in-house departments and ad hoc contacts as required. Ensure requisite internal approvals are secured
  • Develop and operate financial models and related tools required to execute transactions
  • Address legal issues, where appropriate and ensure their full impact is considered
  • Assist in the structuring, negotiation and execution of financing solutions to meet requirements of clients in the given sector
  • Provide support to other transaction teams as required

  • Ability to source, analyse and apply relevant information.
  • Rigorous work ethic
  • Works well under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills (financial modelling)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • University Education
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking
  • Fluent written and spoken English
